Data transmission via Li-Fi is predestined for use in aircraft and hospitals. These are extremely sensitive areas where technical devices must not be affected by radio waves. The P-LAMPE is ideally suited for Li-Fi.

Communicate with insects

To stop the decline of insects, we must also reduce the negative effects of urban lighting. Our approach is to repel insects, but not to kill them. Our project TEMPLA - focuses on defense through communication.

Purify wastewater

Many industrial wastewaters contain organic pollutants that cannot be degraded in wastewater treatment plants. Completely water-protected P-LAMPS can eliminate organic pollutants by means of UV light.

Securing food for the world

Due to its special properties, the P-LAMPE can be a solution for cost-effective lighting systems in vertical farms. The opportunities offered by the P-LAMPE are being researched together with the TUM School of Life Sciences, Freising.
